The most comprehensive database of genomic markers of addiction
Supported by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), we’ve catalogued genetic markers of addiction and treatment approaches across substance use disorders (SUDs) creating the most comprehensive database of genomic markers of addiction.
These include markers related to the use, abuse, and addiction of nicotine, opioids, alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, stimulants, and sedatives.
As a result, researchers can leverage the AddictID database in their data collection and analysis.
A flexible and cost-effective solution to adding addiction markers to your genotyping project
Together with Illumina, AddictID is offering a cost-effective and flexible solution to include addiction specific markers in your genotyping project.
The AddictID Booster can be added to Illumina Infinium arrays such as the Global Screening Array and the Asia Screening Array, Omni and CytoSNP12.
This gives researchers the power to add addiction content to new or ongoing genotyping projects.
Furthermore, the Illumina Infinium platform enables the ability to continuously add new markers.
We are currently seeking research partners and would enjoy the opportunity to learn more about how AddictID can fit into your addiction research.
Building upon the content provided in the Smokescreen Array, AddictID is continuing to develop arrays in various other addiction-related areas such as opioids, alcohol, and cannabis.
We are continually seeking research partners and would enjoy the opportunity to explore these or other areas of interest.
